Special Needs Blog Hop: Random Thoughts

AutismLearningFelt

Special Needs Blog Hop. This week's topic: Random Thoughts.

Are you kidding me? I'm the QUEEN of random thoughts. Here's what I've got circling around up there right now:
  1. I have too many clients; more than there are days in the week. This is starting to become a problem
  2. This new Cat in the Hat show on PBS is absolutely horrible
  3. I need to buy more shampoo, but I have to go to the place where I get my hair cut to get it and I know I'm not going to remember until the next time I'm standing in the shower shampoo-less. I have to write that down when I'm done with this
  4. There isn't going to be enough time after my client this morning and before I have to pick up the kids to go for a walk and that makes me sad
  5. It's raining and on rainy mornings the school makes the kids gather in the auditorium instead of on the yard and Child 1 goes into sensory overload whenever that happens so I have to plan to leave at the perfect time so that we miss having to wait for the bell to ring but enough time to still get a place to park
  6. Child 2 has a cute laugh and it's super easy to get one out of him
  7. Words cannot express how angry this makes me: Elizabeth Edwards Funeral To Be Picketed By Westboro Baptist Church
  8. I need to stop typing now so that I can make #5 happen

I think that Cat in the Hat show is stupid too. Glad my kids didn't like it.

Well, maybe if you started spending more time with your constituents at Target and less time on your clients, problem #1 would resolve itself.

This is officially my last Target related comment. Target comments are dead to me.

I'm thinking of picking up on the target comments where BDA is leaving off. Someone's gotta do it.

Cat in the Hat is so bad. You know it's Martin Short's voice, right?

And I have so many thoughts on Elizabeth Edwards. I love her. Such an amazing example of grace and dignity. It's unbelievable how tough she was and how much class she had going through such crazy shit.

The media coverage of Elizabeth Edwards has been unbelievable. I think it would be better for the family if the press left them alone.
I love my son't laugh. It's adorable.

Wow, I must have missed some memo about this Cat in the Hat thing! Didn't even hear about it.

And the auditorium round up would make my son absolutely lose it. He couldn't even handle the aquarium this morning because there were 4 school groups there.

I heard about the picketing, and I'm livid!! Seriously, infuriated. Some people have NO sense of decency!

You too with the rainy day thing?? We always have to plan accordingly on rainy mornings just to avoid the noisy, crowded auditorium...

Hey! Wait a minute, I thought *I* was the QUEEN of Random Thoughts! We might have to duel over this.

No, wait, I think I'm actually the Queen of the Run-on Sentence (with parenthetical clauses). So I'll let you keep your crown on this one.

hehehe @ Varda!! I am a day late reading so did you get the shampoo? Did you get to school in time? I am completely lost on the Target comments so will stay well out of it. Is Target a shop? Jen

Did you get the shampoo? I hope so. I can't stand it when I'm in the shower without one of the necessary "supplies"!

I'm visiting from the Special Needs Hop for the first time! Nice to "meet" you!

This is your reminder to BUY SHAMPOO--just in case you forgot to write it down. Hi from the blog hop.
