This is what happens when you cross a 5 year old with a label maker.

EDIT: He had help with the spelling. He's smart... but he's not THAT smart.

Yeah, he's quite the speller for a 5-year-old!! I hate to say my 6-year-old would rather wrap himself up in the sticky labels, than actually make labels.

He's not helpful. Wonder where he gets that from.

We used a label maker too and it was terrific! All the kids' weekly spelling words went up in the edge of the kitchen counter, just at eye level, and when my son was preparing for a black belt test in TKD the terminology went up in the same place. Seeing the word "window" on a window truly helps. Also, quite often while speaking I'd spell a couple of the words I'd just said so they could hear them.

Owen would lose his shit if I got him a label maker. Kid CAN spell and every. single. object in this house would be properly labelled. Am tucking this idea away for Christmas possibilities. That thing could keep him occupied all winter.

I LOVE it! I particularly love the labeled "towel" under the labeled "elephant!" I love this kid - *I* am the obsessive label-er in our house, and Billy is the obsessive "let-me-pull-this-crap-off-my-toys" destructor who follows in my footsteps.

If my 5 year old had a table maker, I'll be honest- everything in the house would be labled" poop", "booty" or "fart" (spelled correctly, of course).
