Happy Birthday Jerry!!

Jerry Garcia would have been 69 years old today! We miss you, Captain!!

I took this video from the Grateful Dead's Facebook page. It's worth watching at least until 4:32 just so you can see the priceless look that Jerry gives Bobby when he says he's absolutely never stoned on stage.

When he died, I was working at a fast food joint as a manager and this group of 'heads' came in and all they could talk about was how 'Jerry is dead man'. They were high as kites and probably something else.

They're gonna take away my hippie card for publicly admitting this k but ive never been a big dead head. I've got nothing against them and they are damn fine background music, but I've never owned a record or went to a show.

I love that you posted about Jerry's birthday. I was a HUGE deadhead, and I still get a little verklempt every year on the day of his death. *sigh*
