LOL. That's awesome, I can't draw anything that good. I'm happy if Jacob colours a picture for me. I'd love it if he wrote a rock solid story like that. I love the bathtubs too.

Funny how everybody's handwriting is the same to a certain age. I'm sure I (well, my grandmother) has reports of mine that look just like that. Sans body parts. Though I did spend an afternoon drawing animal skeletons once. I was going to be a vet.

i grew up in tornado alley. That is exactly what it looks like.

actually--we didn't have a basement, so we had to cower in the bathtub with a mattress pulled over us. Luckily, our bathtub never flew away.

As someone who has seen a real tornado and narrowly missed its path of destruction (twice), I can attest to the accuracy of these renderings. Fabulous.

I know this was meant to be a funny post, but I have to say: WOW. Great job! I am more in awe of the drawings and handwriting than the funniness of it all. I mean, it is funny, but DANG! Go, Kiddo, Go! :)

ironically, my kids had a tornado drill today. DD#2 has a nervous breakdown every time it rains b/c of some nasty tornado scares last year. Maybe I should have her work it out through art??

As a person who spent the day watching weather reports about impeding tornadoes (still under watch for another 2hrs even) in a semi-drug-induced type coma...I find the timing & accuracy of this post to be stellar!

I love how kids get right to the heart of the matter and pick the perfect details. Not a wasted word or pencil stroke. The bathtubs were awesome, but the ROOFS blew me away. (Get it?) I loved the movement lines around the word tornado. Excellent, scary report.
